Ritu Dave

Resident Physiotherapist

Ritu Dave is a compassionate and dedicated Resident Physiotherapist at our clinic. She is committed to helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to their daily activities with confidence. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2019 and has gained diverse clinical experience working in pediatric physiotherapy, fitness training, hospital settings, long-term care, retirement living, and private practice clinics in both India and Canada.

Prior to moving to Canada, Ritu worked as a Pediatric Physiotherapist and Fitness Trainer in India, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered rehabilitation, exercise prescription, and functional recovery. Over the years, she has actively participated in multiple physiotherapy conferences in India and has presented research papers, reflecting her passion for continuous learning and evidence-based practice.

Ritu is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including: Neck and back pain, Sports injuries, Post-surgical rehabilitation, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) injuries, Workplace injuries (WCB), Acute and chronic pain conditions

Her treatment approach focuses on individualized care, patient education, functional rehabilitation, and helping patients safely return to work, sports, and daily activities. She believes in empowering patients through movement, education, and collaborative goal-setting to achieve long-term recovery and wellness.

To further enhance her clinical skills, Ritu has completed certification training in Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) Management

She has also completed continuing education courses in the management of: Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) injuries, Back and neck pain, Knee pain, Running injuries

Since moving to Canada, Ritu has worked across various healthcare environments including hospital settings, long-term care facilities, retirement living communities, and private clinical practice. Her broad clinical exposure allows her to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Outside the clinic, Ritu enjoys spending time with family and friends and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys playing badminton and table tennis, as well as biking.
