Do I need a Doctor's referral for Physiotherapy?

No, You do NOT need a doctor’s referral for physiotherapy since Physiotherapists are directly accessible in Alberta. We work closely with physicians. If Physiotherapist determines that you need Doctor’s attention, you will be referred to your doctor for further investigation. Please call us for more details.

What is expected during my first appointment?

The Physiotherapist will do an assessment as well as a treatment based on your needs.

How long do appointments last?

Your first visit will last between 45-60 minutes, the follow up treatments will last about 30-45 minutes, all depending on the extent of your injuries.

 

How do I pay for my treatment?

We can direct bill to almost any extended health care company on your behalf if you have benefits, or you may pay on your own.

Motor vehicle accidents and WCB claims are paid 100% once approved by Insurance company.

Is massage therapy available at your clinic?

Yes. Our clinic has excellent Registered massage therapists working for you. We do offer the following massage therapy techniques at our clinic and direct billing is available.

-Relaxation Massage

-Deep Tissue Massage, Therapeutic Massage

-Pain Management, Trigger Point Therapy

-Pre- and Post-Natal massage, Myofascial Release

-Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Are AHS funded visits available through your clinic?

Currently, we are unable to offer the funded visits that are available through Alberta Health Services.
