Postural Assessment

Posture refers to the body’s alignment and position with respect to the force of gravity.

Good postural alignment while sitting, standing, walking, as well as in any other activities including sports is key in preventing musculoskeletal injuries. Your physical therapist will assess your biomechanical alignment / posture to find out any abnormal stresses placed on the tissues.

Your physical therapist will educate you about good posture and plan appropriate strategies  to address your concerns.

Twin Brooks Physical Therapy & Sports Injury Clinic in Edmonton strives to maintain good postural alignment strategies to keep you healthy.
